I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Pine Ridge, FL’s Top Nursery

Equestrian character sets Pine Ridge apart from nearly every other community across Citrus County. Roughly one-acre minimum lot sizes and horse-friendly zoning attract residents who value space and privacy above all else. Paul’s Nursery loves working with Pine Ridge properties because larger lots invite ambitious orchard planning. Multiple fruit trees can establish here without crowding concerns that plague smaller suburban yards elsewhere. Pastureland edges often make ideal borders for productive fruit tree rows. Existing oak canopy on many properties affects sun exposure and requires thoughtful placement discussions. Every consultation begins with walking the land and understanding how you actually use each area. Careful planning at the beginning saves years of adjustment and disappointment later.

Central Citrus County offers growing conditions that reward proper variety selection generously. Sandy, well-draining soils suit most fruit species better than heavy clays found in other Florida regions. Mild winters extend growing seasons noticeably beyond what most northern climates permit. Summer heat drives strong tree development when adequate watering supports root systems during establishment. Paul’s Nursery has curated our inventory around exactly these Central Florida realities across multiple generations. Every tree leaving our nursery has proven capability in conditions closely matching Pine Ridge properties. That track record protects both your investment and the years of care you’ll dedicate to your orchard.

Naturally, citrus deserves special attention when growing in a place literally named Citrus County. Orange Trees, Lemon Trees, and Tangerine Trees consistently lead requests among Pine Ridge residents. Larger acreage properties throughout the community easily accommodate Grapefruit Trees and Tangelo Trees with room for full mature canopies. Kumquat Trees offer compact productivity suited to garden beds near the home or patio areas. Fragrant citrus blooms create memorable spring experiences across the entire property when trees mature. Heritage varieties share space with disease-resistant modern cultivars on our nursery lot. Health evaluations happen for every citrus tree before it leaves for your Pine Ridge address. Reliable production timelines are what our citrus customers regularly report back to us.

Tropical fruit trees genuinely shine on Pine Ridge properties with sufficient space for their needs. Mango Trees mature into impressive specimens that produce heavy summer harvests year after year. Patient cultivation of Avocado Trees eventually yields fruit that puts supermarket versions to genuine shame. Fast-growing Banana Trees fill vertical space quickly and produce distinctive harvests within remarkably short timeframes. Uncommon selections like Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees generate real interest among visitors and family members. Cold tolerance varies dramatically across tropical species, making thoughtful placement essential rather than optional. Natural windbreaks common on Pine Ridge acreage can help marginal varieties survive occasional cool snaps. Every placement decision receives real attention during our consultations rather than boilerplate advice.

Stone fruit possibilities in Pine Ridge depend entirely on choosing cultivars matched to local chill hour realities. Florida-developed Peach Trees consistently deliver sweet, juicy fruit despite the region’s limited winter cold. Similar breeding programs have produced Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees that flourish under matching conditions. Subtropical Cherry Trees complete the stone fruit category for interested growers. Warm-climate Apple Trees and Pear Trees genuinely bear fruit here, often surprising residents who assumed otherwise entirely. Chill hour concepts get explained during consultations without unnecessary technical complexity. Trees incapable of fruiting in this climate never earn space on our sales lot. That standard reflects generations of family commitment to honest selling.

Berry bushes make particular sense on Pine Ridge properties where garden space extends beyond typical suburban limits. Blueberry Bushes settle comfortably into local acidic soils and produce within the first couple of growing seasons. Blackberry Bushes establish aggressively and yield remarkable harvests with surprisingly modest ongoing care requirements. Raised beds, decorative containers, and traditional rows all accommodate either option well. Florida-bred cultivars handle regional heat and humidity without breaking down through summer months. Grandchildren visiting Pine Ridge homes typically become instant berry-picking enthusiasts within minutes. Standard care guidance about pruning, feeding, and pest management accompanies every bush purchase. Well-tended berry plants produce dependably for many years, providing excellent long-term value.

Distinctive orchard character comes through specialty tree selections that extend beyond the standard varieties. Fig Trees produce two annual crops when conditions and care align properly in Central Florida. Late-spring blooms on Pomegranate Trees create stunning visual displays before ruby fruit development begins. Mediterranean Olive Trees suit rural Pine Ridge properties remarkably well while providing both aesthetic and edible value. Fast-growing Mulberry Trees deliver sweet dark berries within just a few seasons of establishment. Winter-fruiting Loquat Trees provide harvests during months when most other trees rest completely dormant. Compact Kumquat Trees fit beautifully into container arrangements or smaller garden beds throughout the property. Thoughtful specialty selections spread harvests across nearly every month of the calendar year.
