I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Brooksville, FL’s Top Nursery

Rolling hills and historic character set Brooksville apart from flatter Central Florida communities. Elevation changes across many properties create distinct microclimates worth considering during tree selection. Paul’s Nursery brings decades of regional experience to every consultation we hold. South-facing slopes warm faster and suit certain varieties beautifully. Higher elevations sometimes experience cooler winter nights than lower-lying areas nearby. Knowing how these factors affect fruit tree performance transforms outcomes considerably. Our team walks each property with these considerations firmly in mind. Local geographic awareness consistently produces better long-term orchard results.

Agricultural heritage runs deep throughout Hernando County, and Brooksville sits right at its center. Rich soils across many properties reflect generations of productive farming and ranching. Paul’s Nursery honors that tradition by helping local homeowners establish their own backyard orchards. Larger acreage parcels common across the area can support serious multi-tree plantings. Smaller residential lots receive the same careful planning attention regardless of size. Container gardens work beautifully for patios or areas with limited in-ground space. Each property type gets recommendations tailored to its specific characteristics. Honest assessment from the beginning prevents disappointment years down the road.

Citrus trees represent the natural starting point for most Brooksville backyard orchards. Orange Trees, Tangerine Trees, and Lemon Trees consistently lead our most-requested varieties for local buyers. Larger rural lots can accommodate Grapefruit Trees and Tangelo Trees with their broader canopy needs. Compact Kumquat Trees suit smaller yards or patio container settings beautifully. Fragrant spring blooms add real appeal alongside the eventual seasonal harvests. Modern disease-resistant cultivars share nursery space with classic heritage favorites. Every citrus tree undergoes thorough health inspection before going home with any customer. Reliable production within reasonable establishment windows is what Brooksville buyers regularly report from our stock.

Tropical fruit varieties open up genuinely exciting possibilities for Brooksville properties with the right placement. Mango Trees deliver heavy summer harvests once established across a season or two. Patient growers find Avocado Trees rewarding with rich, creamy fruit that easily beats grocery alternatives. Quick-growing Banana Trees create dramatic tropical character almost immediately after planting. Less familiar selections like Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees produce conversation-starting harvests for families and visitors. Strategic placement matters considerably for cold-sensitive tropical species, especially on higher-elevation Brooksville lots. Sheltered corners and south-facing walls help marginal varieties through occasional cooler winter nights. Each placement decision receives careful attention during our consultations.

Stone fruit success throughout Brooksville hinges entirely on selecting appropriate low-chill cultivars. Peach Trees bred specifically for Florida produce sweet, juicy fruit on local properties consistently. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees with comparable low-chill genetics also flourish under these conditions. Subtropical Cherry Trees round out our stone fruit lineup nicely. Apple Trees and Pear Trees with warm-climate breeding genuinely surprise customers who came from northern states. Chill hour requirements get explained in plain, accessible language during every consultation. Trees that can’t fruit in this climate never appear on our sales lot. That honest selection has been a non-negotiable standard for our family across generations of nursery work.

Berry bushes offer Brooksville gardeners some of the quickest paths to homegrown fruit harvests. Blueberry Bushes settle into local acidic soils smoothly and produce within their first or second season. Vigorous Blackberry Bushes yield generous harvests with surprisingly manageable ongoing care requirements. Both options adapt easily to raised beds, container setups, or traditional in-ground rows. Florida-developed cultivars handle local heat and humidity without struggling through summer months. Families with kids especially appreciate how easy berry picking becomes right in the backyard. Care guidance covering pruning, fertilizer, and pest awareness accompanies every bush sold. Productive berry plants yield reliably for many years when basic routines stay consistent.

Beyond standard variety choices, specialty trees add real personality to Brooksville orchards. Fig Trees produce two seasonal crops annually under Central Florida growing conditions. Pomegranate Trees flower brilliantly in late spring before delivering their iconic ruby-colored fruit each year. Mediterranean Olive Trees thrive in elevated, sunny spots that Brooksville’s rolling terrain offers naturally. Fast-growing Mulberry Trees produce sweet dark berries within just a few seasons of planting. Loquat Trees deliver winter fruit during months when most other trees rest dormant. Compact Kumquat Trees fit beautifully into patio containers or smaller planting beds. Mixing these specialty options creates orchards with harvests spread across more of the calendar year.
