I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Lady Lake, FL’s Top Nursery

Lady Lake offers a distinct mix of established neighborhoods, retirement communities, and rural acreage that all welcome fruit trees. Paul’s Nursery has worked across this variety of property types for decades. Each setting calls for slightly different recommendations based on space, soil, and the homeowner’s goals. Our team has developed an eye for matching trees to specific Lady Lake situations. Smaller patio yards need different choices than larger rural lots. We take time to understand which scenario fits your property. That careful matching prevents disappointment years down the road. Lady Lake customers appreciate being heard before being sold anything.

The northwest corner of Lake County brings together climate factors that favor productive fruit growing. Slightly drier conditions than coastal Florida benefit certain Mediterranean and citrus varieties. Cool morning temperatures during winter months can affect cold-sensitive tropical species. Paul’s Nursery factors these local realities into every recommendation we make. Knowing the difference between Lady Lake conditions and those just an hour south matters considerably. Our guidance reflects that geographic awareness consistently. Customers benefit from advice tuned to their actual location. Buying trees from a nursery that understands your area pays off across the years.

Citrus represents the natural starting point for most Lady Lake fruit growers. Orange Trees, Tangerine Trees, and Lemon Trees lead our most-requested varieties in this area. Tangelo Trees and Grapefruit Trees suit properties with sufficient room for full canopy growth. Kumquat Trees offer compact options for patio settings or limited yard space. Many newcomers to Florida are amazed they can grow their own citrus at home. Our staff explains care basics without overwhelming first-time growers. Modern disease-resistant cultivars protect investments against problems that have affected commercial groves. Each citrus tree gets a careful health check before leaving our lot.

Tropical fruit options open up exciting possibilities for adventurous Lady Lake gardeners. Mango Trees produce abundant harvests once established for a couple of summers. Avocado Trees deliver creamy fruit far superior to anything stocked at grocery stores. Banana Trees grow with surprising speed and create instant visual impact. Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees produce unique flavors that become conversation pieces. Cold tolerance varies significantly among tropical species, making placement decisions important. Sheltered corners and south-facing walls help cold-sensitive varieties through occasional winter dips. Our team walks through these strategic placement considerations with every customer.

Stone fruit selection in Lady Lake comes down to matching varieties with local chill hour availability. Peach Trees bred for Florida produce sweet, juicy fruit on properties throughout the area. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees with low-chill genetics also flourish in these conditions. Cherry Trees suited for subtropical zones round out our stone fruit options. Apple Trees and Pear Trees adapted for warm climates surprise plenty of customers who came from northern states. We explain chill hour requirements in plain terms without confusing technical language. Trees that won’t fruit in this climate never make it to our sales inventory. That commitment to honest stocking has built our reputation across generations.

Berry bushes deserve serious consideration from any Lady Lake homeowner wanting quick rewards. Blueberry Bushes settle into local acidic soils smoothly and produce relatively quickly. Blackberry Bushes establish vigorously and yield generous harvests with manageable care. Both options adapt easily to raised beds, container gardening, or traditional landscape planting. Florida-developed cultivars handle our summer heat without struggling at all. Many active retirees in Lady Lake find berry bushes perfectly sized for their gardening interests. Care guidance covers pruning windows, fertilizer recommendations, and seasonal expectations. Productive bushes keep yielding for many years with consistent basic attention.

Specialty fruit trees add genuine character to Lady Lake orchards that standard varieties cannot match. Fig Trees produce two seasonal crops annually under Central Florida growing conditions. Pomegranate Trees flower brilliantly in late spring before delivering their distinctive ruby fruit. Olive Trees thrive in sunny, well-drained spots and bring Mediterranean style year-round. Mulberry Trees shoot upward fast and produce sweet dark berries by the handful. Loquat Trees deliver fruit during late winter when most other trees remain inactive. Kumquat Trees stay manageable in size for patios and tighter planting areas. Combining these specialty options creates harvests distributed across multiple seasons of the year.

Delivery and planting service throughout Lady Lake makes orchard building practical for every household. Trees arrive on schedule in healthy condition, ready for immediate installation. Our planting crew prepares each hole correctly, examines root systems, and waters thoroughly to start establishment right. Specific care instructions tailored to your tree and yard accompany every install. Free estimates remove uncertainty from project budgeting before any commitment is made. Many Lady Lake families expand their orchards across multiple seasons as time and interest allow. We’re happy to support that gradual growth at whatever pace works best. Real conversations with our family-owned team define every interaction from start to finish.
