I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Citrus Springs, FL’s Top Nursery

Wooded lots and generous acreage define much of what makes Citrus Springs special. The community offers residents room to spread out in ways busier suburban areas simply can’t match. Paul’s Nursery has worked across properties like these throughout Central Florida for many decades. Larger lots often support serious multi-tree plantings with room for full canopy development. Existing tree canopy on many Citrus Springs properties creates specific sun exposure considerations. Our team walks each yard with these realities firmly in mind. Careful placement makes all the difference between struggling and thriving fruit trees. Local awareness consistently produces better long-term orchard results than generic advice.

Northern Citrus County brings a slightly different growing environment compared to communities further south. Sandy soils common throughout the area drain quickly, which suits most fruit tree varieties beautifully. Mild winters and extended warm seasons stretch productivity beyond what northern climates allow. Paul’s Nursery has curated our inventory around exactly these regional advantages over generations. Every tree we sell has proven its performance in similar Central Florida conditions. Customers benefit from that careful selection process during every purchase. Citrus Springs yards can produce remarkably with proper variety choices. Our team helps homeowners understand what’s genuinely achievable on their land.

Citrus trees naturally form the backbone of most Citrus Springs backyard orchards. Orange Trees, Tangerine Trees, and Lemon Trees rank among our most-requested varieties for local buyers. Larger lots throughout the area can accommodate Grapefruit Trees and Tangelo Trees with their broader canopies. Compact Kumquat Trees suit smaller planting spaces or container settings beautifully. Given the community’s very name, growing citrus feels particularly fitting for local homeowners. Modern disease-resistant cultivars share nursery space with classic heritage favorites. Every citrus tree undergoes thorough health inspection before going home with any customer. Reliable production within reasonable establishment windows is what Citrus Springs buyers regularly experience.

Tropical fruit varieties open up genuinely exciting possibilities for Citrus Springs properties with the right placement. Mango Trees deliver heavy summer harvests once established across a season or two. Patient growers find Avocado Trees rewarding with rich, creamy fruit that easily beats grocery alternatives. Quick-growing Banana Trees create dramatic tropical character almost immediately after planting. Less familiar selections like Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees produce conversation-starting harvests for families and visitors. Strategic placement matters considerably for cold-sensitive tropical species in northern Citrus County. Sheltered corners and south-facing walls help marginal varieties through occasional cooler winter nights. Each placement decision receives careful attention during our consultations.

Stone fruit production across Citrus Springs depends entirely on selecting appropriate low-chill cultivars. Peach Trees bred specifically for Florida produce sweet, juicy fruit on local properties year after year. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees with comparable low-chill genetics also flourish under these conditions. Subtropical Cherry Trees round out our stone fruit lineup nicely. Apple Trees and Pear Trees with warm-climate breeding genuinely surprise customers who came from northern states. Chill hour requirements get explained in plain, accessible language during every consultation. Trees that can’t fruit in this climate never appear on our sales lot. Honest selection has been the cornerstone of our family operation for generations now.

Berry bushes offer Citrus Springs gardeners some of the quickest paths to homegrown fruit. Blueberry Bushes settle into local acidic soils smoothly and produce within their first or second season. Vigorous Blackberry Bushes yield generous harvests with surprisingly manageable ongoing care requirements. Both options adapt easily to raised beds, container setups, or traditional landscape rows. Florida-developed cultivars handle local heat and humidity without faltering through summer months. Families with kids especially appreciate how easy berry picking becomes when bushes grow within reach. Pruning windows, fertilizer guidance, and seasonal expectations come standard with every bush sold. Healthy berry plants keep producing reliably for many years when basic routines stay consistent.

Beyond standard variety choices, specialty trees add real personality to Citrus Springs orchards. Fig Trees produce two seasonal crops annually under Central Florida growing conditions. Pomegranate Trees flower brilliantly in late spring before delivering their iconic ruby-colored fruit each year. Mediterranean Olive Trees thrive in sunny, well-drained spots common across many Citrus Springs properties. Fast-growing Mulberry Trees produce sweet dark berries within just a few seasons of planting. Loquat Trees deliver winter fruit during months when most other trees rest dormant. Compact Kumquat Trees fit beautifully into patio containers or smaller planting beds. Mixing these specialty options creates orchards with harvests spread across more of the calendar year.
