I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Clermont, FL’s Top Nursery

Clermont stands out in Central Florida for its rolling hills and mature residential communities. Those hills create distinct microclimates that affect how trees grow on different sides of a property. Paul’s Nursery understands this terrain better than most because we’ve worked across it for decades. Elevation, slope direction, and soil composition all factor into our recommendations. We walk through these considerations with Clermont customers during every consultation. No two yards behave exactly the same, even on neighboring lots. Knowing the difference saves you from planting trees that struggle. Local expertise is the foundation of everything we offer.

Citrus does exceptionally well across Clermont, especially on south-facing slopes with good drainage. Orange Trees, Lemon Trees, and Tangerine Trees remain the most popular requests from new customers. Grapefruit Trees and Tangelo Trees suit larger yards with room for full canopy development. Many Clermont homeowners want a working citrus section similar to historic Lake County groves. We help them recreate that look with appropriately spaced, healthy young trees. Each citrus variety comes with specific care notes covering watering and feeding schedules. Modern disease-resistant cultivars sit alongside the traditional favorites on our lot. Healthy roots and well-formed canopies are confirmed before any tree heads to your property.

Tropical fruit selections have transformed how Clermont yards look and produce. Mango Trees deliver heavy summer harvests once they settle in after a couple of seasons. Avocado Trees prefer protected spots and reward proper placement with abundant fruit. Banana Trees explode upward and produce within their first or second year of growth. Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees create real interest among visiting friends and family. We discuss cold-tolerance honestly so customers know what frost protection might be needed during rare winter dips. Clermont’s slightly cooler nights compared to coastal areas affect tropical tree placement. Choosing the right microclimate within your yard makes all the difference.

Stone fruit varieties bred for Florida have come a long way over recent decades. Peach Trees with low chill hour requirements produce sweet, juicy fruit in Clermont gardens. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees offer similar success stories with proper variety selection. Cherry Trees suited to subtropical conditions complete the stone fruit lineup. Apple Trees and Pear Trees with warm-climate genetics surprise customers who didn’t think they could grow them here. Our team explains chill hours in everyday language without complicated terminology. We won’t sell a tree that won’t fruit in this climate, regardless of how attractive it looks. Honest dealing has carried our family business across more than a century.

Berry bushes serve as one of the smartest first investments for new gardeners in Clermont. Blueberry Bushes love the naturally acidic spots found across Lake County. Blackberry Bushes produce thorny, productive canes that fill rows quickly. Florida-bred varieties of both handle our summer heat without struggling. Container growing works well for renters or those with limited yard space. Children especially enjoy harvesting berries within reach of their own height. We share pruning and fertilization tips with every bush sold. Productive berries can yield for many seasons when basic care routines are followed.

Specialty trees add unique character to Clermont properties looking for something beyond standard offerings. Fig Trees produce reliably in two seasonal flushes across most of South Lake County. Pomegranate Trees flower brilliantly in late spring before delivering their famous fruit. Olive Trees suit elevated, well-drained spots and bring silvery foliage to your landscape. Mulberry Trees grow tall and fast, producing sweet dark berries kids will steal straight from the branches. Loquat Trees offer winter fruit when other trees are dormant. Kumquat Trees stay compact, working beautifully in courtyard or patio settings. Mixing these specialty options creates orchards with harvests spread across the calendar.

Delivery and planting service throughout Clermont keeps the experience simple from start to finish. Trees arrive in great condition and ready to go into the ground that same day. Our planting crew prepares each hole correctly, inspects root structure, and waters thoroughly. Personalized care instructions accompany every install based on your specific tree and yard. Free estimates take the guesswork out of pricing your project from the beginning. Many Clermont customers expand their orchards gradually, adding new trees each season as time and budget allow. We support that pace however it works for your family. Calling our nursery means speaking with someone who genuinely cares about your success.
