I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Wildwood, FL’s Top Nursery

Sumter County’s rural character shines through in Wildwood more than almost anywhere else in the region. Open land, agricultural heritage, and proximity to major highways have shaped this community for generations. Paul’s Nursery has worked across Wildwood properties for many decades. Local soils tend to be sandy and well-drained, which suits most fruit tree varieties beautifully. Mild winters and extended growing seasons give Wildwood yards real production potential. Our team brings hands-on regional knowledge to every consultation we hold. Properties here often offer the kind of space that supports serious backyard orchards. Wide-open lots can accommodate multiple varieties without crowding concerns.

Larger acreage parcels throughout Wildwood present opportunities that smaller suburban lots simply can’t match. Multiple fruit trees can establish across these properties with full canopy development possible. Open sun exposure benefits citrus and tropical varieties especially well. Paul’s Nursery helps homeowners plan layouts that maximize both productivity and visual appeal. Smaller residential lots in Wildwood receive the same careful planning attention. Container plantings work beautifully for patio areas with limited in-ground space. Each property type gets recommendations tailored to its specific characteristics. Honest assessment from the start prevents disappointment years later.

Citrus trees naturally form the foundation of most Wildwood backyard orchards. Orange Trees, Lemon Trees, and Tangerine Trees lead our most popular requests for local properties consistently. Larger rural lots can accommodate Grapefruit Trees and Tangelo Trees with their broader canopies. Compact Kumquat Trees suit smaller yards or container plantings near patios. Many Wildwood families want backyard groves that reflect Florida’s deep agricultural traditions. Heritage cultivars sit alongside modern disease-resistant varieties on our nursery lot. Every citrus tree undergoes thorough health inspection before sale. Reliable harvests within reasonable establishment windows are what Wildwood buyers regularly experience.

Tropical fruit varieties have grown popular among Wildwood homeowners exploring Florida’s full growing potential. Mango Trees produce abundant summer harvests once established for a season or two. Avocado Trees reward patient cultivation with rich, creamy fruit that easily outshines grocery alternatives. Quick-growing Banana Trees create dramatic tropical character almost immediately after planting. Less familiar selections like Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees produce harvests that delight families and visitors. Cold tolerance varies considerably among tropical species, making thoughtful placement important. Sheltered yard corners and south-facing walls help cold-sensitive varieties through occasional winter cold. Our team works through these placement strategies during every consultation.

Stone fruit performance throughout Wildwood depends entirely on selecting appropriate low-chill cultivars. Peach Trees bred specifically for Florida produce sweet, juicy fruit on local properties consistently. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees with comparable low-chill genetics also flourish under these conditions. Subtropical Cherry Trees round out our stone fruit lineup nicely. Apple Trees and Pear Trees with warm-climate breeding genuinely surprise customers who didn’t expect them to grow here. Chill hour requirements get explained in plain, accessible language during every consultation. Trees that can’t fruit in this climate never appear on our sales lot. Honest selection has been a non-negotiable standard for our family across generations.

Berry bushes offer Wildwood gardeners some of the quickest paths to homegrown fruit. Blueberry Bushes establish nicely in acidic soils common across many local properties. Vigorous Blackberry Bushes yield massive harvests with surprisingly manageable ongoing care requirements. Both options adapt easily to raised beds, container setups, or traditional in-ground rows. Florida-developed cultivars handle local heat and humidity without struggling through summer months. Families with kids especially appreciate how easy berry picking becomes right in the backyard. Care guidance covering pruning, fertilizer, and pest awareness accompanies every bush sold. Productive berry plants yield reliably for many years when basic routines stay consistent.

Specialty trees give Wildwood orchards real character that goes beyond standard variety selections. Fig Trees produce two seasonal crops annually under Central Florida growing conditions. Pomegranate Trees flower brilliantly in late spring before delivering their iconic ruby-colored fruit. Mediterranean Olive Trees thrive in sunny, well-drained spots common across rural Wildwood properties. Fast-growing Mulberry Trees produce sweet dark berries within just a few seasons of planting. Loquat Trees deliver winter fruit when most other trees rest dormant. Compact Kumquat Trees fit beautifully in patio containers or tight planting beds. Combining these specialty options creates orchards with harvests spread across multiple seasons throughout the year.

Delivery and planting service throughout Wildwood removes the heavy work from your orchard project entirely. Trees arrive at your property in excellent condition, ready for immediate installation. Our planting crew handles proper hole preparation, root system inspection, and thorough initial watering. Personalized care notes accompany every install based on your specific tree variety and yard conditions. Free estimates take budget surprises out of project planning before any commitment is made. Many Wildwood families expand their orchards across several seasons as time and space allow. We support that gradual approach at whatever pace works best for your household. Family-owned service means real conversations with people who genuinely understand fruit trees.
