I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Ocoee, FL’s Top Nursery

West Orange County has transformed dramatically over recent decades, and Ocoee sits right at the center of that growth. Family-friendly neighborhoods now cover land that once produced commercial citrus by the truckload. Paul’s Nursery has watched this evolution unfold and adapted our service accordingly. Many current Ocoee properties rest on soil with genuine agricultural history baked into it. Such backgrounds often mean naturally favorable conditions for backyard fruit production. Direct experience across these properties shapes how our team makes recommendations. Specific lot characteristics get factored into every consultation we hold. Generic advice simply can’t compete with knowledge built on the actual local landscape.

Newer Ocoee subdivisions present opportunities that established neighborhoods often can’t match. Wide-open lots with full sun exposure give young fruit trees ideal growing conditions. Older sections of town bring different considerations, including mature canopy and existing landscape features. Paul’s Nursery tailors recommendations to whichever scenario fits your specific property. Newly built homes sometimes have compacted soils that benefit from thoughtful amendment before planting. Established yards may offer richer soil profiles ready to support trees immediately. Each property gets honest assessment during our consultations. Setting realistic expectations from the start prevents future frustrations entirely.

Foundations of most Ocoee fruit orchards typically begin with citrus selections. Orange Trees, Tangerine Trees, and Lemon Trees lead our most popular requests across Orange County. Larger suburban lots can accommodate Grapefruit Trees and Tangelo Trees with their broader canopy needs. Smaller yards or container settings suit Kumquat Trees beautifully. Recreating the citrus heritage that once defined this region remains important to many local families. Heritage cultivars share lot space with modern disease-resistant varieties at our nursery. Health inspections happen for every citrus tree before it heads home with a customer. Solid harvests within reasonable establishment windows are what Ocoee buyers consistently report.

Increasingly popular among Ocoee homeowners, tropical fruit trees expand the range of what backyard orchards can produce. Mango Trees deliver heavy summer crops once established across a season or two. Patient growers find Avocado Trees rewarding with rich, creamy fruit unlike anything from grocery stores. Bold, fast-growing Banana Trees bring dramatic tropical character to suburban landscapes almost immediately. Unique selections like Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees produce harvests that surprise and delight families. Strategic placement matters considerably for cold-sensitive tropical varieties. Sheltered corners and south-facing walls help marginal selections handle occasional winter cold. Each placement decision receives thoughtful attention during our consultations.

Selecting the right low-chill cultivars determines stone fruit success across Ocoee properties. Peach Trees bred specifically for Florida’s mild winters produce sweet, juicy harvests reliably. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees with comparable low-chill genetics also flourish under local conditions. Subtropical Cherry Trees round out the stone fruit category nicely. Apple Trees and Pear Trees adapted for warm climates genuinely surprise customers who came from northern states. Plain-language explanations of chill hour requirements come standard during every consultation. Trees unable to fruit in this climate never appear on our sales lot. Honest selection has been a non-negotiable standard for our family across generations.

Quick-producing options like berry bushes deserve serious consideration from any Ocoee gardener. Blueberry Bushes settle into local acidic soils smoothly and produce within a season or two. Vigorous Blackberry Bushes yield massive harvests with surprisingly manageable care needs. Raised beds, container setups, and traditional in-ground rows all work well for either option. Florida-developed cultivars handle our heat and humidity without faltering through summer months. Kids especially love how easy berry picking becomes when bushes grow within reach. Pruning windows, fertilizer recommendations, and seasonal expectations come with every bush sold. Healthy berry plants keep producing reliably for many years when basic routines stay consistent.

Beyond the most common varieties, specialty trees give Ocoee orchards distinctive character. Fig Trees produce two seasonal crops annually under our Central Florida conditions. Brilliant late-spring blooms on Pomegranate Trees precede their famous ruby-colored fruit. Mediterranean Olive Trees thrive in sunny, well-drained spots common across Ocoee subdivisions. Rapidly growing Mulberry Trees produce sweet dark berries within just a few seasons of planting. Loquat Trees offer winter fruit during months when most other trees rest dormant. Compact Kumquat Trees fit beautifully into patio containers or smaller planting beds. Mixing these specialty options creates orchards with harvests distributed across the calendar.

Service throughout Ocoee stays personal and reliable from initial contact onward. Trees arrive at your property in excellent condition, ready for immediate installation that same day. Proper hole preparation, root inspection, and complete initial watering are included with every planting. Specific care notes tailored to your variety and yard conditions accompany each install. Free estimates remove budget uncertainty from project planning before any commitment is made. Many Ocoee families build their orchards gradually across multiple seasons as time and space permit. Follow-up questions remain welcome long after the original sale closes. Family-owned operation means real relationships with the people who serve your property.
