I had a great experience working with Paul’s Nursery from start to finish. They helped me select several fruit trees and handled the installation, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and clearly cared about doing the job right. The trees were healthy, well-planted, and everything was done with attention to detail. I highly recommend Paul’s Nursery to anyone looking for quality fruit trees and reliable installation.

It saddens me to come to this page and see only 4 stars for this stellar business. It almost makes me wonder if the reviewers left their review on the wrong page. I experienced exactly zero of the negative experiences described in some of these reviews. I responded to their ad on facebook and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way! Communication was prompt, professional, respectful, courteous, and most certainly not aggressive. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating, going out on a limb (See what I did there?) to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a Persian Lime tree from them. They delivered AND planted it at no additional charge – and I live over FIFTY MILES from their site! Upon delivery, the tree was already laden with fruit! This was a birthday gift for my sister. Growing up in Northern Michigan, she would have never dreamed that one day she would have a lime tree in her backyard. THANK you, Shelsea, Paul & staff for taking my sister’s Florida Dreams to the next level. We will definitely see you again!!!

For Christmas 2020 I bought my wife 5 citrus trees from Paul's Nursery. He picked out some very good trees, whenever I had a question he would walk me through it. Normally the first year you get very few pieces of fruit. Because of the quality of Paul's trees and his help after sale this is the first years crop.Pictures of our trees as of Christmas 2021.

This Nursery does not look beautiful from the road however, they have a huge selection and they are willing to get whatever you need from one of their other nurseries throughout the state. At this particular location they carry a lot of cold-hardy plants and many varieties of fruit and citrus. The prices are far below what you would find at other locations in the area. The owners entire family is in the nursery business throughout the state. He was raised doing this he has a large knowledge of plants for this area. I am told they also do pavers, landscaping, and irrigation.

Groveland, FL’s Top Nursery

Groveland is more than a service area for Paul’s Nursery; it’s our hometown and our headquarters. Operating from 13844 Equestrian Drive places us in the middle of the community we serve every day. Local customers can drive over and walk the lot whenever questions come up. Few nurseries offer that level of accessibility to their neighbors. Our family has worked this land long enough to know every quirk of the local growing season. Generations of nursery experience translate into practical advice that actually helps. Groveland homeowners deserve recommendations rooted in real conditions. That’s exactly what we provide with every consultation.

The South Lake County landscape supports a remarkable variety of fruit trees with proper selection. Sandy soils drain well, which suits most citrus and stone fruit beautifully. Mild winters and warm growing seasons stretch productivity beyond what northern climates allow. Paul’s Nursery has curated our offerings specifically around these conditions over many decades. Every tree on our lot has earned its spot through proven local performance. Groveland customers benefit from that careful selection process during every purchase. We never stock varieties that haven’t shown they can produce here. Buying local means buying smarter when it comes to fruit trees.

Citrus continues to define backyard orchards across Groveland and the broader Lake County area. Orange Trees, Tangerine Trees, Lemon Trees, and Grapefruit Trees lead our most popular requests. Tangelo Trees and Kumquat Trees give customers additional citrus variety for diverse harvests. Many local families want to honor the region’s citrus tradition with their own home groves. We help make that aspiration real with healthy young trees and clear care guidance. Modern disease-resistant cultivars sit alongside classic favorites on our nursery lot. Each tree gets inspected thoroughly before going home with a buyer. Strong production within reasonable timeframes is what Groveland customers come to expect.

Tropical fruit trees turn ordinary Groveland yards into something memorable. Mango Trees produce abundant summer harvests once they establish over a couple of seasons. Avocado Trees deliver rich, creamy fruit that satisfies in ways store-bought versions never can. Banana Trees grow rapidly and create bold, leafy character almost immediately. Guava Trees, Star Fruit Trees, and Passion Fruit Trees produce conversation-starting fruit that delights families. Cold tolerance considerations factor into where each tropical variety should be planted. South-facing walls and sheltered corners help marginal varieties through occasional winter cold. Our team walks through placement options carefully with every customer.

Stone fruit performance in Groveland comes down to selecting the right low-chill cultivars. Peach Trees bred for Florida produce sweet, juicy fruit on local properties consistently. Plum Trees and Nectarine Trees with comparable low-chill genetics also thrive in this climate. Cherry Trees adapted for subtropical zones complete the stone fruit offerings. Apple Trees and Pear Trees with warm-climate breeding genuinely surprise newcomers with their reliability. We explain chill hours in plain, everyday language that anyone can follow. Trees that can’t fruit in this climate never appear on our sales lot. That honesty has carried our family business across more than a century.

Berry bushes offer Groveland gardeners the quickest path from planting to harvest. Blueberry Bushes do exceptionally well in the acidic soils common across many local properties. Blackberry Bushes establish vigorously and produce massive harvests with minimal long-term care. Both options adapt well to raised beds, container setups, or traditional rows. Florida-developed cultivars handle local heat and humidity without faltering through summer months. Families with kids enjoy how berry picking turns yard work into something fun. Pruning techniques and fertilizer guidance accompany every bush we sell. Productive bushes can keep yielding for many years when basic routines stay consistent.

Specialty fruit trees add real personality to Groveland orchards looking for something beyond standard varieties. Fig Trees produce two seasonal crops annually in Central Florida conditions. Pomegranate Trees flower spectacularly in late spring before delivering their famous crimson fruit. Olive Trees handle sunny, well-drained spots and provide silvery Mediterranean foliage year-round. Mulberry Trees grow tall and fast, producing sweet dark berries by the basketful. Loquat Trees deliver fruit during late winter when most other trees sit dormant. Kumquat Trees stay compact and work beautifully in patio containers or tight planting beds. Mixing these specialty options creates orchards with harvests spread across more of the calendar year.

Being your local nursery means service that goes beyond a single transaction. Delivery throughout Groveland happens efficiently because our trees never travel far. Our planting crew handles proper site prep, root inspection, and complete initial watering. Specific care notes accompany every install so nothing gets guessed at later. Free estimates remove uncertainty from the budgeting side of any project. Many Groveland families grow their orchards gradually across multiple seasons. Our doors stay open for follow-up questions long after the original sale. That kind of ongoing relationship is what family-owned nursery work is really about.
